The Fairbanks Community Center will put you up for the night: the Inn at Fairbanks Landing is the volunteer-run center’s own lodging, in the county’s northwest corner. Take an indoor room, pitch a tent, or plug the camper into a site with electric hookup; whichever you pick, the center’s kitchen, laundry, dining, and living areas come with it, WiFi included. Fairbanks Landing Fish & Wildlife Area is about a quarter mile away, and a hunter can book a camper site clear through the season, September to January.
