The Sullivan County Poor Home sits on County Road 75 North east of Sullivan, from the era when a rural county ran its own home for residents who had nowhere else to turn. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places for its architecture.
It is privately owned now and remodeled inside into apartments, so it isn’t open to the public; it’s one to recognize from the road rather than visit.
