The Sherman Building stands on the downtown Sullivan square at Court Street, and it has been worth a look since the day it opened: celebrated in 1915 as one of the finest theaters in Indiana. A century on, the National Register building has found a second life as the home of Crossroads Community Church, which keeps the historic storefront in active use.
The building is on the National Register of Historic Places for its architecture. As a working church it is best seen on the square or during services; check the church’s page for times.
